Hello. I am Jami of Now & Zen Life Photography. I am a 33 yr. old wife of an Iraq War Vet/National Guard Soldier and mother of 2 beautiful & smart children. I hail from Riverside, California, but I currently reside in Talladega County in Alabama. I have lived in California, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Kansas, and Wisconsin. I am not just a photographer, but I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Alabama. I have been a nurse since 2004. I am in college working on my RN. I also have an Associates degree in Web Design and Graphic Art & an Associates degree in Liberal Arts. I also am a huge fan of couponing and saving money, plus I run a Girl Scout Troop!
I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, graphic design, computer stuff, crafts, visiting museums, visiting parks, going on hikes, going on bike rides, cooking, and anything else that involves me and my family spending time together! I love forensics shows and anything having to do with the medical field. I enjoy listening to music groups such as The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, Tori Amos, my good friend Randy's punk band Backseat Virgins (out of Tennessee & Alabama), Gwen Stefani, and many others. I am very much into art and being creative.
